Who Dares Wins led our Royal Ascot squad with a very good performance once again to finish third in the Ascot Stakes picking up well over £7,000. Tom Marquand gave him a beautiful ride having him prominent all the way, just like he was ridden at Cheltenham, and there is no doubt if he had had some luck in running the Chester Cup would nearly have been his as well. The winner, trained by Willie Mullins, came from off the pace and won quite easily and Who Dares Wins was beaten 7 lengths, but had some very useful stayers behind him and all credit must go to Alan King and his team. Races at Goodwood in August and the Ebor in mid August are likely on the agenda and it is great we have a horse that can compete at the top level in the staying races.
