Just In Time, who was bought at the Deauville Breeze-Up Sales just over a year ago by Anthony Bromley, made a very promising seasonal debut upped in trip to a mile and a half at Leciester on Tuesday 8th August. He would not have been ideally suited by the testing ground conditions but he stayed on well to finish second beaten just three and a quarter lengths with the favourite another 7 lengths back in third place.
Just In Time is by the sire Excelebration who is making a name for himself, and was at home over this distance of a mile and a half and may well be tried over further. He is a nice horse and will make his mark both on the flat and also over hurdles, which is why he is with Alan King who is so adept at mixing the two disciplines.
Alan reports him in good form and he will be aimed at Goodwood on Saturday 26 August race time 5.05 and Fergus Sweeney will ride. He does hold a back up entry at Salisbury on Friday 25 August evening meeting race time 7.55.
