Who Dares Wins was given a great ride by Tom Marquand to win a very competitive renewal of the Cesarewitch Trial at Newmarket on Saturday. He has proved himself a useful stayer being placed at the Cheltenham Festival, Royal Ascot and was an unlucky fourth in the Chester Cup. He was giving a lot of weight to the favourite and his Stable companion Coeur De Lion, who went for home coming out of the dip but once our Warrior got to him he was always going to prevail and he stayed on well to win by one and three quarter lengths.
He will return to Headquarters for the big race itself on Saturday October 14th. The prize fund is £250,000 and our own First Mohican runner up last year is likely to join him in the line up. Coeur De Lion is unlikely to make the cut.
