Ryan Moore gave Who Dares Wins an exceptional ride from a bad draw to finish third in the Chester Cup improving his performance when fourth last year despite being 8lb higher in the weights. Who Dares Wins has an incredible record and with 8 wins and earnings of over £180,000. He continues to take his owners on an exciting journey, as apart from winning 8 races, has been placed at two Cheltenham Festival, Aintree, Royal Ascot and now two Chester Cups. He is quite rightly being acclaimed by some pundits as one of the toughest horses in training.
His next engagements will either be at Royal Ascot in the Ascot Stakes or the Northumberland Plate on Saturday June 30th. He will only go to Ascot, where he was third last year, if the ground is good or softer, but conditions for the Northumberland Plate will be just up his street as it is now run on the All-Weather track and he won early on in his career at Wolverhampton and does so much of his training on that surface as well, so that is an obvious mid-season target before another crack at the Cesarewitch later on in the year.
